A shorter variety of the upper garment is the Stanamsuka or breast-band.

Women also wore bodices which were perhaps tied at the back.

Some bodices cover the breasts as well as the abdomen.

These usually had half sleeves and perhaps were worn like pullovers.

Women also wore transparent Uttarīya draped over their upper body.

A Kañchuka usually reached up to the ankles, this one is decorated with a geese pattern.
